Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By inviting, adding, or using this Discord bot ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is developed and maintained by @ocyao.

2. Usage License

You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive license to use the Service for personal or non-commercial purposes within Discord servers.

3. Service Description

The Service acts as an interface (wrapper) for various Large Language Models (LLMs) via the OpenRouter API. It allows users to send text prompts to third-party AI models and receive generated responses directly within Discord.

4. User Conduct

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Generate content that violates Discord's Community Guidelines or Terms of Service.
  • Generate illegal, harmful, threatening, or abusive content.
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, exploit, or harm the bot's infrastructure.

5. Disclaimer

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. The Developer makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, reliability, or availability of the AI-generated responses. AI models may occasionally produce incorrect information ("hallucinations") or biased content.

6. Limitation of Liability

The Developer shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, nor for the content generated by third-party AI models.

Privacy Policy

1. Data Collection

To provide its functionality, the Service processes the following data:

  • Discord User ID & Channel ID: Used strictly to manage conversation context and ensure responses are sent to the correct location.
  • Message Content: Text you voluntarily send to the bot via commands (e.g., /ask) is processed to generate a response.

2. Data Storage & Retention

We prioritize your privacy by minimizing data storage:

  • Temporary Memory (RAM): The Service stores the last 20 messages of a conversation in the active memory (RAM) of the hosting server solely to provide "context" for the AI.
  • No Permanent Database: We do not use a database to permanently store your conversation history.
  • Data Clearing: Your conversation data is automatically wiped from memory if:
    • The bot restarts.
    • You use the /clear command.
    • You change the active model using /set.

3. Third-Party Data Sharing

The Service utilizes OpenRouter.ai to access AI models.

  • When you use the /ask command, your message content and immediate conversation history are transmitted to the OpenRouter API.
  • By using the Service, you acknowledge that your prompts are processed by OpenRouter and the specific AI model provider you have selected (e.g., OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral, etc.).
  • Please refer to OpenRouter's Privacy Policy for details on how they handle data.

4. Contact

If you have questions regarding these terms or your data, please contact @ocyao on Discord.
